Get ready to create! This Workshop will teach your a technique where we will create 8″ hexagons and embellishing them using buttons, ribbon, trims, perle cotton, fabrics, beads and so much more.
2 Day Class: March 14 & March 21, 2026 – 9 am – 2:45 om (participants should arrive 30 minutes early to setup)
Cost: $90 for Guild Members & $100 for Non-Guild Members
Supply List:
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Sewing Machine with straight stitch and zigzag
- White or Light Thread for Sewing Machine (upper and bobbin)
- 2 yds white, off-white or tone-on-tone light fabric
- 1 yd thin cotton batting
- Applique Pins
- Rotary Cutter
- 8″ Ruler
- 8″ or 10″ Embroidery Hoop
- #2 Lead Pencil or Frixion Pen (any color)
- Hand Needles assorted sizes (perle cotton, silk thread, beading, hand quilting, etc.)
- Assorted embellishments, trims, sequins, small buttons, perle cottons, silk ribbons, pre-made appliques, small pieces of novelty fabric for fussy cutting, small rick-rack, decorative threads, beads, lace, white quilting thread, beading thread, etc. In short, bring anything small and decorative that you may want to use to embellish your blocks.
Kit Fee: $3.00 CASH paid directly to the instructor
