Pictorial Hand Applique – Little chickadee

**Instructor:** **David Taylor** – Learn the layered freezer paper appliqué process I use on my award-winning animal wall quilts. Lots of demonstrations including my pre-turned-edge technique, eliminating the dreaded shadowing and an invisible hand-stitch.

This is a 6 hour class. 9:00 am til 3:00 pm

Location: Harvest Baptist Church

Finished size: 12″ square of your Hand Applique Chickadee.

Class Cost: $85.00 includes kit with all the materials for the class project. (Kit Includes: pre-washed fabrics, FQ background, pattern, full color instructions, freezer paper and tracing paper for overlay.)

Suggested Student Supply List:

Paper Scissors, Fabric Scissors, Hand Sewing Needle (David uses Bohin Long Applique Size 10), Hand Sewing Thread 60/2 Cotton (YLI Soft Touch will be provided for class), Applique Pins, Pencil or Mechanical Pencil, Plastic bag to hold applique shapes (sandwich size or larger), Finger Stiletto or Trolley Needle optional but very helpful.
